Description

OSSS will be hosting the 2024 Summer Tour at the OSU Klamath Basin Research and Extension Station

The theme of the tour is “Undamming the Klamath River”, focusing on the work that went into executing the Klamath River Dam Removal Project and how the management of formerly subaqueous soils along the Klamath River will change. We will also visit local growers and farms on organic lakebed soils, and discuss the unique climatic and geologic setting of the Klamath River Basin.

The registration fee of $105 ($65 for students/retirees) includes lodging, meals, and a 1-year membership from the date of the event.
